About the Club

Sweden's number one gyroplane club since 2009

In January 2009 a group of Scanian pilots founded Sweden's first club with a registered flight school conducting training and free-flying on modern light gyroplanes (UL-Gyro), rudder-controlled ultralight aeroplanes (UL-B), and weight-shift ultralight trikes (UL-A).

Through our partnership with Sjöflyg Syd we can also offer training towards a seaplane rating on UL-B aircraft.

Since its founding the club has grown into the leading UL-gyro club with a flight school in Scandinavia. Our aircraft are factory-built, top-of-the-line, and fully insured. We fly and train year-round.

The club has around 60 friendly, open-minded and enthusiastic pilots from southern Sweden.

As a non-profit association the club is able to offer its members and aviation enthusiasts flying at cost price. Because we share aircraft among many members, flying one of the club's machines costs a fraction of owning your own aircraft. This opens up opportunities for aviation enthusiasts who have previously only been able to dream about flying ultralight gyroplanes, trikes, or aeroplanes.

We are based at ESMI Sövde airfield outside Sjöbo. The idea is to spread our activities around Scania wherever there is interest in aviation. Such a concept is possible thanks to the extremely advanced flight characteristics and high safety of gyroplanes, combined with the positive and open attitude of our members.

All aviation enthusiasts are welcome to contact us for information about the club, flight training, or trial flights.
