New aircraft in the club’s fleet—more opportunities for training and flight experiences
Tomark SD4 Viper
We are very happy to announce that Skånska Gyrokopterklubben has received a new aircraft for the club’s fleet. Whether you’re curious about starting to fly with a gyroplane or an airplane, or whether you already have flying experience, this addition is a boost for the club’s activities.
What does a new aircraft mean for us?
By strengthening our fleet, we can continue developing our UL-certification training while also creating even more opportunities for introductory flights and training sessions. For the club, it’s not just about more hours in the air—it’s about being able to plan better, spread flying opportunities across the season, and give more members the chance to touch down and feel how the gyroplane’s calm, responsive flying characteristics make every flight unique.
Technology, safety, and community
Bringing in a new aircraft also means work on the ground: reviewing procedures, updating checklists, and providing shared training in how we handle it in everyday operations at the airfield. We do this step by step together, with safety and shared responsibility in focus. As a non-profit organization, SGK builds its activities on members contributing—and when a new aircraft arrives, it becomes even clearer how strong our club culture is.
Together toward more flight sessions in Skåne
We look forward to sharing the experience with more people and continuing to build an activity where flying becomes more accessible. Keep an eye out for information about upcoming training sessions and opportunities to try it out—more details will be shared by the club shortly.
Thank you!
A big thank you to everyone who helped make this a reality. Now we take the next step together—toward more takeoffs, more smooth landings, and even more opportunities to experience the magic of flight in Skåne.
