Introductory flight in an UL aircraft

In a heated, enclosed cockpit you enjoy the view of beautiful Skåne with the coast. This is flying as the gods intended it. Your unique photos will impress. The aircraft is easy to maneuver and has dual controls. Thanks to modern equipment, cabin heat, and headsets with effective noise reduction, we can fly comfortably all year round.

The flight

During the introductory flight, you get to experience Skåne from the air. We take off by agreement and, depending on the weather, from Sövde. If the pilot deems it appropriate, you will be able to try flying the aircraft yourself and get to know the exciting flight characteristics of the airplane. In one hour, there’s time to fly to Malmö, or perhaps Ales stenar, or Österlen... Maybe do a few takeoffs and landings and take photos from the air, and then land back and park by the hangar.

If you want to treat a friend, you can share a gift card—then it will be about 30 minutes of engine time each, including about 20 minutes in the air.

We have all the necessary equipment needed for the flight. Come as you are.

The value certificate also gives the holder guest membership in the club, which means a discount when signing up for a regular annual membership if any later training begins with us.

Value certificate, payment, and delivery

When you purchase, you will receive a value certificate that gives the holder the right to one hour of flying with one of our experienced pilots in the form of an introductory flight. The holder can be you yourself, or someone you want to give it to as a gift card. The value certificate is delivered as a PDF file once the payment has been registered. As an optional extra, you can also get the value certificate printed and sent by post. If you pay with Swish, you receive the PDF file immediately.

Scheduling

Normally, you purchase the value certificate first. After it has been delivered, you contact the club and book a time for the flight. Please get in touch at least one week before your desired time. Book a time by emailing bokning@gyroflyg.se. Or call 0736-636 089 on weekdays 17:00–20:00 and weekends 09:00–20:00. The phone number does not accept SMS.

UL aircraft depend on suitable weather. Low clouds, fog, rain, or similar conditions can make the flight less comfortable or impossible to carry out. Then you’re allowed to reschedule for another day. Safety first!

Terms and conditions

Due to the aircrafts’ weight limitations, we cannot fly passengers who weigh more than 110 kg. For those who later want to progress and obtain certificates through the flight school, the maximum weight is 100 kg. Maximum weight in the pilot seat on our aircraft is 110 kg. The value certificate must be redeemed no later than 12 months from purchase. If needed, the validity can be extended for an administrative fee by contacting the club.
